Event Details

K-12 educators and youth-serving professionals, you are invited to a free online Breathe for Change workshop (valued at $100). This 6-hour immersive experience – focused on the transformation of self, relationships, and community – will be completed over 3 days, 2 hours at a time.

Breathe for Change uses wellness as a vehicle for healing and social change. Through professional development experiences that nurture that critical connection between teacher well-being and student learning, we provide tools for both personal and collective healing.

By starting with the transformation of self, we will support you in developing all 5 of the C.A.S.E.L. social-emotional competencies on a personal level and in a way that can positively impact the type of classrooms and schools you design for students.

What you will leave with:

  • Enhanced educator well-being, and reduced stress and burnout
  • Increased ability to integrate mindfulness practices into instruction
  • Improved social-emotional learning outcomes for students
  • Strengthened school-wide climate and educator capacity
  • Deepened commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion

This workshop will also be offered June 22-24 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. CT. To register for this session instead, click here.
