Drew Martel (LISW, CADC) is the Director of Crisis Services at Foundation 2 in Cedar Rapids, where he oversees crisis services operations, including Iowa’s statewide crisis line “Your Life Iowa”, The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and mobile crisis outreach programming. Drew has been involved in the development and expansion of several mental health initiatives in Iowa, including developing a law enforcement co-responder model, now being utilized in several departments throughout Eastern Iowa, as well as facilitating several workshops on suicide prevention and intervention. In addition to his work at Foundation 2, Drew is a site surveyor for The American Association on Suicidology, and provides therapy at Meadowlark Psychiatric Services in North Liberty. Drew is a military veteran, and lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife Anna, two daughters Madeline and River, and son Ellis.
