Jenny Barnett is currently the superintendent of Harlan Community Schools. In her 30 years in education in Iowa she has served as a special education teacher, school counselor, secondary principal, executive director of student services, executive director of targeted services, and superintendent. She has experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating school-based therapy programs, as well as, therapeutic classrooms. In addition, she advocates for social emotional learning programs throughout the core curriculum in districts.
