Biography

Jadie Boens currently serves as the Director of Special Programs for Heartland Area Education Agency (Heartland AEA). In her role, she provides leadership to Heartland’s Social, Emotional, Behavioral, and Mental Health (SEBMH) program development and service delivery. Jadie is passionate about developing partnerships in support of Heartland’s SEBMH efforts. Jadie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa; Master’s Degree in Special Education from Drake University; and PhD in Educational Leadership from Capella University. Jadie currently serves as an active member of the Polk County Mental Health Regional Governing Board, the Polk County Behavioral Health Collaborative, and is a “Make it OK” ambassador.
