Thursday, November 17 from 2 – 2:45 p.m. Get to Know the Scanlan Center for School Mental Health

Addressing and supporting the mental health needs of students, educators and staff are top of mind for districts, AEAs, and colleges. Learn about the groundbreaking work being done at the University of Iowa’s Scanlan Center for School Mental Health, launched in June 2021 to provide social, emotional, behavioral, and psychological services for students in all 99 counties. Medical professionals who lead this initiative will be on hand to share information, answer questions, and discuss solutions.

We want to chat with you about school mental health needs and opportunities in your school, district, or community! We will have mindfulness coloring books, coloring pencils, stickers, resources, and free professional development and training.
