Talking to kids and teens about mental health is critically important — but what do you say?

In this webinar, parents/caregivers will learn developmentally appropriate strategies for how to talk to kids (elementary through high school) about emotions, mental health, suicide, and therapy. Participants will develop skills in recognizing the difference between everyday stress and more serious challenges in kids, and learn about available resources across Iowa. Leave with practical conversation starters, tips for managing reactions, and strategies to nurture your child’s one-of-a-kind mind.
