This year, 2025 EmpowerED Minds plans to welcome 1,000 participants from across Iowa and the U.S. representing K-12 educators, school mental health providers, administrators, college/university faculty and staff, and community partners.

Sponsored Session ($1,500)
Connect directly with your primary audience by hosting a Sponsored Session about your school mental health and well-being solutions. Your presentation on Tuesday, September 30 from 4 – 4:45 p.m. will position your organization as an industry leader.
While product or service information can be included, the most effective sessions focus on practical elements such as case studies, industry trends, best practices, and innovative problem-solving. Interactive formats like roundtable discussions are especially encouraged.
Sponsored Sessions are free to any registered attendee; we will promote these sessions along with other programming, and they will be labeled as Sponsored Sessions. We provide a theater-style venue and standard AV equipment. Rooms can hold up to 100 attendees. The Sponsored Session does not include an exhibit booth.

All applications are subject to approval by the Scanlan Center for School Mental Health. The exhibit must relate to the topic of school mental health and improving access to mental and emotional well-being resources and services for K-12 school or college campus communities. Items without educational merit may be excluded.
I was so impressed by the compassionate educational leaders; they truly want to make a difference. I can’t wait for next year to share more love and resources for the hard-working teachers and counselors.

When will I know if my application has been accepted?
The Scanlan Center team will review, vet, and respond as quickly as possible. Responses can take up to 2 weeks after submission.
What payment options are available?
You have the option to pay via credit card on the application form. If you would like to instead be invoiced, please note that on your application. After application acceptance, you will receive an invoice via email. The invoice will need to be paid via check within 30 days to hold your booth/exclusive sponsorship selection.
Can I get a refund for my exhibit booth/sponsorship?
No, booth and sponsorship refunds are not available.
How do I purchase additional exhibit booth amenities?
Booths DO NOT include electricity, pipe, drape, or signage. Additional booth amenities (i.e., food/beverage, audio/visual, decor, electrical services) can be purchased through the Iowa Events Center. Learn more about purchasing additional booth amenities.
What are the exhibit space guidelines?
All exhibits are tabletop only. Structures/Signage are acceptable but should not take up more than a 6ft x 5ft area.
When can exhibitors expect the most traffic from attendees?
Exhibitor booths will be set up in the main hallway, outside the session rooms.

Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available in the Iowa Event Center Parking Lot. This is $12 per car. Larger vehicles or trailers may incur an additional charge. Learn more about parking at the Iowa Events Center.
