Do you find your head spinning trying to figure out how to make sense of all the policies passed at the state and federal levels that directly and indirectly impact student well-being? You are not alone. It can be challenging to translate these policies into practices that enhance student well-being.
This webinar will provide a framework and helpful strategies for translating policies into helpful practices. Strategies include: (1) Increasing knowledge of policy requirements. (2) Aligning local policies with state and federal policies. (3) Aligning professional development and educator resources to policies and research-based practices. (4) Adequately resourcing policy requirements. (5) Providing vision and direction to invested parties for policy implementation. (6) Advocating for staff and student needs related to the policy.

Know recent, key school mental health policies.
Understand the role of school leaders and other educators in supporting these policies.
Learn strategies for supporting policy implementation to improve student well-being.
