Students presenting with both high cognitive/academic ability and a disability (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Learning Disorder) are referred to as “twice exceptional.” This population presents with unique social-emotional needs due to their asynchronous development and limited access to specialized support.
This webinar will provide an overview of twice-exceptionality, identify key challenges and vulnerabilities for this population, and offer evidence-based recommendations for supporting the social-emotional well-being of twice-exceptional students in the classroom.
