During this presentation, educators, school mental health professionals, para-educators, and administrators will learn the rationale behind using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to enhance well-being.

Participants will enhance their understanding of mindfulness skills, self-care skills, and will learn a skill in order to be interpersonally effective. Participants will be provided with handouts of these skills and will receive information on other Scanlan Center for School Mental Health services.

Learning Goals

  1. Participants will enhance their knowledge of mindfulness skills.
  2. Participants will enhance their self-care skills.
  3. Participants will learn an interpersonal effectiveness skill.
